It’s great to be able to start a new blog with an email like this one I received with some very nice comments about my book ‘Contemporary Wedding Photography’ (published by David & Charles 2006) from Paul Newsome in Australia:

Just wanted to send you a quick email to say a big thank you for your inspirational wedding book Contemporary Wedding Photography. I bought the book whilst over in Canada for my own wedding last December in Montreal as I was asked by some friends to have a go at doing their wedding photos when they got married in Edinburgh this July. I am purely a hobbyist photographer and have had no formal training (though I would love to down the line), but with the help of your book I managed to produce a set of photos for them which I’m pretty pleased about.
